About me
Javier Beltran (he/him) currently serves as the Deputy Director for the Housing Rights Center. He previously worked at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) where he was a Managing Attorney for the Preventing and Ending Homelessness Program and also served as Managing Attorney for the LAFLA’s Santa Monica office. Javier previously worked at Inner City Law Center (ICLC) as a Staff Attorney litigating slum housing lawsuits and defending tenants in eviction cases. He eventually became ICLC’s Directing Attorney for their Homelessness Prevention Department.
Prior to working as a non-profit attorney, he practiced civil litigation for an Orange County law firm and immigration law for a Sherman Oaks law firm. Javier received a BA in History from California State University Los Angeles and a JD from Southwestern University School of Law.
