About me
Melanie MacBride (she/her) is the Chief Grants & Operations Officer at The Chicago Bar Foundation, where she oversees and directs the CBF’s grants program and related projects. In addition, she oversees the administrative operations of the CBF, with a lead role in directing finance and audit, human resources, and other key operational activities. Prior to joining the CBF in 2021, Melanie was a managing attorney at Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services, where she had worked since 2012. Previously, Melanie was a staff attorney at Ascend Justice and DuPage Bar Legal Aid Service. Melanie has a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.
